Your wrong
Its not offical but hey the video gets to point about the polical stance in the song. Punk always mixes with politics, that is real punk not the punk/pop bands on huge record labels.

Never heard of it until today. It’s very well written and produced. It features articles about using Linux for new users. This month’s edition has a collection of articles about distributions, battle of wesnoth open source game and Fluxbox (the small but powerful window manager).
Best of all its FREE! The magazine is distributed over the web in a PDF format. All you have to do is make a "subscription" account. You can choose to have the magazine sent straight to your inbox if you wanted.

You can subscribe to the magazine at www.tuxmagazine.com

Yahoooooo widgets

I have blogged a lot lately about linux so todays different or I just ill. I came across yahoo widgets so I gave it a try. Its pretty neat. I have used programs like this before... rather doggy applications too. I think I can trust Yahoo to provide a secure desktop application. After unticking all the options like "make Yahoo my default homepage" and "add a yahoo toolbar" I was ready to play with the widgets. A really good one is the weather forcast and clock.

The picotux 100 is the world's smallest Linux computer, only slightly larger (35mm×19mm×19mm) than an RJ45 connector

Thats dam small!
The specs of this tiny computer:
Processor:32-bit ARM 7 Netsilicon NS7520
Processor Clock:55 MHz
Flash Memory:2 MB
RAM:8 MB SDRAM
Ethernet:10/100 Mbit, HD and FD, auto sensing
Supply Current:250 mA

Top Gear: Trash a Toyota Truck

The best thing I seen on top gear ever. I really want this car, I would trash it. I have seen it before but that was last year.

Part one: Minor damage to the car and then builds up to some serious damage.

Part two: WOW speechless!

Part two took sometime to load for me but its worth it if you want to see what happens to the car.

By the Way I need a link (google videos, you yube or ect ect) to a video of top gear in iceland shows 8 or 10 I think. Anyone has it comment please.

How to Become Less Annoying on MSN

  • 0
I was looking at wiki.ehow.com and found a guide on how to be less annoying on msn. My personal tip is not to use msn at all. But some may disagree. I find that people on icq and other networks are not usually annoying which I don't know why. Maybe it's because MSN is popular and it attracts idiots who knows

Here is what this guide says:

Some people can be very annoying when using MSN and other Instant Messenger programs. If you're one of these people, consider following these steps.

1. Remove smilies that are just one letter (e.g. Y would be a giant dancing Y).

2. Learn how to talk normally and write normally. Then people will understand you more. This means no using "U" or "Y" instead of "you" or "why?" "Wot?" is a very common but makes you sound like a "chav."

3. Don't download a plugin for MSN such as "Fun Buddy Icons" or "MSN Plus!" They will bring up auto-messages saying "Get MSN Plus!" They usually are all spyware.

4. Don't send useless pictures over MSN. Use http://www.imageshack.us/index.php to upload them. If you have to, don't use BMP; compress it to a PNG format instead.

5. Don't pressure people to talk to you. Just because there are ten people on your contact list, it doesn't mean they want to talk to you.

6. If you have a post on a forum and want it bumped, just wait, especially if it is a popular one.

7. Know that group conversations are annoying. You might be talking to random people who you don't know. The opening line of a Group conversation usually is "Hey ppl." This is terrible spelling and shouldn't be used at all. Group conversations should at least have a topic.

8. Don't spam. Maybe you own an online shop, so you add random people to your contact list and tell them, "OMG You have to see my shop!!!1111!!" This is quite annoying. Spamming someone's inbox to get them to unblock you is pointless. They'll just block you for longer.

9. Block people! You should block people who do these things on a daily basis. Encourage them to stop doing it and live their life. Then over a basis of time, unblock them from your MSN Contacts list.

Tips:
* Encourage people to be friendly on MSN so you will be friendly to them.
* Warn them about Spyware and Viruses from MSN Plugins, and find articles on wikipedia to overthrow them.
* Don't swear at people to get them to stop. Just persuade them. If you have to butter them up.

Firefox Hack: Memory Usage

  • 0

You might have seen something about firefox's high use of memory on my blog before
http://dnh500.blogspot.com/2006/02/fi....
You can see that some kind person, some really nice person has left me an offer for "$39.95 for Leak, Plumbing & Handyman Services." WOW amazing. Retarted spam bots. Anyways... this hack. It really works and it only takes a few seconds.

Just follow the instructions
  1. Open Firefox and go to the Address Bar. Type in about:config and then press Enter.
  2. Right Click in the page and select New -> Boolean.
  3. In the box that pops up enter config.trim_on_minimize. Press Enter.
  4. Now select True and then press Enter.
  5. Restart Firefox.

Knoppix live cd speedtouch script

  • 0

I was having a few beers today and I started thinking... could I use a linux live cd with my speedtouch 330 modem to connect to the web. All I knew was that there was linux drivers for the usb modem since iv installed them many times. I set out to search the web for info...

Well it turns out it is possible with Knoppix (the best linux live cd).

Someones taken the linux speedtouch drivers and made them into a simple easy to use script. You just download the script, put it somewhere on your hard drive, boot knoppix, find the script, run it, follow the setup. You dont even have to enter in a VPI or VCI. It was all done by selecting the ISP/Country then entering a user name and password... thats it!

You can download the script from http://christophe.delord.free.fr/en/adsl/
You can also get the lastest version of Knoppix from www.knoppix.org
